Free Winter Coaching Centre at Pangbar (Barsoo) a Remotest Village of Dist. Kargil.

With the help of local youths and villagers the Basij-e-Imam Youth Voluntary wing of IKMT started a free coaching centre during the winter vocation at village Pangbar which is the most remote village of dist. Kargil in J&K at an altitude of 13000ft. The centre was inaugurated on 1stJanuary on the New Year day at the hands of village Nambardar. A large number of students and their parents were present on the occasion; the villagers received the team of Basij-E-Imam IKMT led by secretary Akhone Mohammad Ibrahim at Imam Badah Pnagbar.

    The inauguration programme was initiated by the Recitation of Holly Quran by the student of Maktab-e-Shaheed Baqir Sadir pangbar. The speakers on this occasion welcomed the nitiative taken by the Basij-e-Imam IKMT for uplifrment of education in the remote and backward village. In her welcome address Madam Nargis Khatoon member of Village education Committee Pangbar welcomed and thanked Basij-e-Imam on behalf of the villagers and prayed for the betterment of the organisation. Mr. Mukhtar chairman village education committee Pangbar elaborated the need of such coaching centre for the poor and downtrodden students of the village and with the opening of this coaching centre a much needed requirement of the poor people is being full filled. Another V.E.C member Mr. Jaffar and Villayat Ali also spoke on this occasion.

Addressing the parents Master Mehdi Hussain and Mr. Ahmad stressed on them for due attention towards their wards and sphere time for their coaching classes. Mr. Liyaqat Ali Shehriyaar a well-known artist, teacher & member of Basij-e-Imam also addressed the gathering and highlighted the need and importance of education for upliftment of the society. Master Ahmad Hussain former vice chairman of Basij-e-Imam IKMT elaborated the need of such coaching centre for the students of remote areas like Pangbar where there is no private coaching facility available. He also appreciated the efforts made by local educated youth including teachers who has offered to work as faculty members for their coaching centre.

Concluding the occasion the Numberdaar of village Pangbar thanked Basij-e-Imam IKMT for their efforts and coming all along to this remotest village in the sub-zero temperature.
